NoRush for entrepreneurs
An ADHD task manager for entrepreneurs and founders
New ideas are the easy part. Finishing the boring thing that makes money is the hard part. NoRush catches the ideas and keeps the boring thing on screen.
In short
NoRush gives founders a fast place to put every new idea (Alt+K, then back to work) and a single task in view for the rest of the day. The Today list holds five tasks at most, a warning appears when the day is overloaded, and the day has a clear end.

Why running a business is hard with ADHD
ADHD and entrepreneurship turn up together often enough that researchers have studied the link. One study found that ADHD symptoms were tied to entrepreneurship through impulsivity: a pull toward new, exciting things and a habit of acting before planning it all out.1
Those traits help you start a company. They do not help you do payroll. A founder has no manager to filter ideas and no one to say what matters this week, so the filter has to be built into the day.
Where it gets hard
- Idea overload. Every new idea feels more urgent than the current plan.
- Many starts, few finishes. Launch pages for products that were never built.
- Avoiding the unglamorous. Taxes, contracts, follow-ups, hiring paperwork.
- No off switch. The business is always open, so you are too.
A day with NoRush
One possible day, as an example.
- 8:45 AMPlan: finish the pricing page, sign the contractor agreement, call the accountant. Finish time 2:40 PM.
- 9:00 AMAn idea for a new product arrives. Alt+K, type it, Shift+Enter. It is in Later. The pricing page is still on screen.
- 9:05 AMPricing page, 45 minutes, with the bubble on every tab you open for research.
- 11:30 AMInvestor call. Meeting Mode hides your list before you share your screen.
- 1:00 PMThe contract. You do not want to. "Tiny steps" starts with "open the PDF".
- 6:00 PMClosing time. You tap "Keep going 30 min" once, finish, and close the day.
The features that matter most for entrepreneurs
- Alt+K gets ideas out of your head in three seconds, so they stop demanding attention.
- The overload warning is the co-founder who says "that does not fit".
- Meeting Mode for investor, customer and team calls.
- Cards reward finishing, which the work itself often does not.
Three things that help, with or without NoRush
- Give ideas a waiting room. Capture every one. Review the list once a week. Most look different after seven days.
- Pick one "must ship" a week. Everything else is a bonus.
- Hand off what you avoid. If you dodge the same task every month, it may be the first thing to delegate.
