How do I install NoRush?
- Open the NoRush page on the Chrome Web Store.
- Click "Add to Chrome", then "Add extension".
- Open a new tab. If Chrome asks "Change back to Google?", choose Keep it.
- Pin NoRush: click the puzzle icon in the toolbar, then the pin next to NoRush.
My new tab is not showing NoRush
Chrome asks once whether to keep the new tab page. If you chose "Change back", open chrome://extensions, find NoRush and make sure it is switched on. In Microsoft Edge, the browser turns the extension off after installing until you click "Turn on" in the message it shows. This is an Edge rule for extensions that change the new tab.
The floating bubble is not appearing
Check Settings > Reminders and bubble to see that it is on. You may have hidden it for 30 minutes or for one site. Browsers do not allow any extension to draw on their own settings pages or on the extension store, so it cannot appear there. It also stays off meeting pages by default.
Alt+K does nothing
Another extension or your browser may be using that shortcut. Open NoRush Settings and look under Shortcuts. It shows what your browser actually assigned, with a button to change it.
I paid, and NoRush is still locked
Sign in to NoRush with the same email address you used at checkout. Then open Settings, go to Account and press "Check my plan". If you paid with a different email, sign in with that one. Still stuck? Email us with the address you paid with.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open your Gumroad receipt email and click "Manage membership". You keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
How do I move my tasks to another computer?
Sign in on both computers and sync does it for you. Or, without an account, use Settings > Your data to export a backup on one computer and import it on the other.
How do I delete my account or my data?
Settings > Account > Delete my account removes your account and its online copy. Settings > Your data lets you erase what is stored on your computer. Removing the extension also deletes everything stored in your browser.
Is there a phone app?
No. NoRush is a browser extension for desktop Chrome and Edge.
